By Her Authentic Voice® was created by Coach Tara Tucker, your favorite Shift Your Story Coach—a Detroit-born and raised Black woman entrepreneur, marketplace minister, podcast host, Certified Life Coach and Behavior Specialist and stage 3 breast cancer survivor.

Faith is the foundation of Tara’s life. Her trust in the Lord has carried her through childhood trauma, illness, grief, loss, and seasons that required her to rebuild from the inside out. Those experiences taught her that survival is only part of the story. Healing, identity, obedience, and purpose shape what comes next.

Tara loves people, and she has a deep love for her community. She understands how shame, hardship, and other people’s expectations can cause us to question who we are. She created By Her Authentic Voice® to encourage people, especially Black women, to stand confidently in their faith, identity, and God-given purpose.

What began through storytelling, coaching, ministry, and publishing grew into apparel with meaning. Every design carries a message intended to remind the wearer of what she believes and who God has called her to be.

These pieces are made for ordinary days, important rooms, quiet rebuilding seasons, business meetings, ministry assignments, creative work, and moments when a woman needs to remember what God has already spoken over her life.
